Appreciate all the groundwork you have done so far with reference to sending out mail.
I am based out of DC Metro area and would like to initiate / participate in meeting the lawmakers about the EB3 Issue and bringing it to their attention.
We need to do something about it NOW.
I am willing to take off from work and meet with whoever concerned would make a difference.

USCIS takes two steps(2 years) forward than takes three steps(3 years) backwards. When it takes forward steps, it confuses everybody by it's stupidness of approving later PD cases and than moves backwards after realizing it's blunder. In this whole process, we spend time analyzing, debating, chatting on what USCIS will do next but they throw all our logic out the window and go their own way. This whole process sucks!!!!
You see in the real world everything moved 1 year ahead from October 2007 to October 2008. So in USCIS world also it moved by 1year.

Skilled legal immigrants from all over US will rally peacefully in Washington DC on Sep 18 at 9:00 AM. The rally wants to draw Congress's attention to 10+ year delays in skilled employment based (EB) immigration. Its shocking!!! They've foolishly approved many 2006 cases and dont tell me it was unpredictable and now ppl with 2003 r still waiting....how logical is this? A bunch of A** H**** working there or what?
I understand your frustration. Since there is no spillover in the first quarter of new fiscal year, it was expected that PD would move back. How can you you expect 2006 PD for Oct when there is no spillover visa numbers.
Next year Jul-Sep 2009, PD should move to mid 2006 again.

My question is what stops a donor from posting stuff in the Donors only forum in the open forum? Is IV going to ban them? What is IV planning on doing if it posted on another forum?
IMHO by creating a donors only forum IV is creating more divisions and problems than it can handle. There is already enough division in the legal immigrant community in IV and one more is definitely not going to help anyone. By all means designate someone as a donor but a seperate forum........

She also made a statement that she will try for more benefits for permanent residents.
She does not want to support only the people who are in the process of immigration???
Whats up with that.
May be she is afraid of Lou Dobbs...Recently he has been criticizing her for her Indian ties
or may be she is pro Rich Indian Americans ... this might sound ridiculous but her voting ney is crazy
They always comment about us stealing the middle class jobs...tell me one case where they don't prefer US citizen over immigrant.
I have been interviewing for couple of companies ...the first question they ask is ...Are you US citizen 2nd question r u Permanent resident ..no..

There was a guy in our office who used to complain about Chineese and Indians stealing jobs...Believe he is a big slacker ..he recently got fired...people like him form these programmers guilds.
We do not work for less and we are not paid less...may be they deduct our Gc expenses but not much

When the time comes to get in front of the Indian community she sweet talks about the values and hardworking nature of the community and swears to support the community and immigrants and takes in Huge contributions. Time to vote on major efforts that do help the community really and she votes 'no' obviously its her nature to double talk and some talk show hosts have rightly identified that and drill her on that. I think its time we showed to the clintons and all those who failed us this time that our community does count and we are going to make it felt.

If you have made a contribution and posted on this thread or on the thread we had before your name should be on the list. We do not have an automatic way of updating this list once someone had made a contribution through paypal at this time. Every night I go through this thread, update numbers and names. I could have made a manual error and missed some names but once people have brought that to my attention I have been double checking and responding back to them. I know I am behind on verifying one or two contributions but I will catch up. I work long hours,take classes and I live 80 miles away from where I work. I wish I had more than 24 hours in my day. If you could help us with maintaining an accurate list that would be awesome.
