A lot of employers are willing to sponsor Schedule A applications, as far as you get your own lawyer & bare the costs, especially if they don't have an immigration department. So you may want to let them know that you have a lawyer who can file as soon as. Some employers already have the employment notice.

Coming to ur note , I guess , people who apply from F1 to I-485 you are referring are not the primary green card applicants. They are dependents on primary applicatns. If not, can you tell me what they are studying and how they can apply green card from F1? I am not aware of this route.

Lets have a quick penultimate round. New contributors have, so far, not let us down. They have stepped forward in each and every round and made it a success. They have taken the most difficult step; contribute for the first time. I know, I was there once. Kudos to them.
In this round could I have support from three existing contributors to quickly finish this round. May I have some pledges please? I would like to fire the third round. BTW this pistol has seven shots. Once we finish this round we will move to the last round and it has 14 shots. 21 shots in total.
These 2 rounds is specially dedicates to the core team members; without them there won�t be any shots fired here. Without them Sept18th would be just one ordinary day on the calendar. They have given us a chance to remember Sep18th forever, no matter what the results are after that day. For me personally, Sept 18th will be a defining moment. We ( I and my wife) applied I-485, AP and EAD on July 26th, 2007 got recipt on Sep 26 th,2007. Finger printing done on Oct 31, 2007. My wife got her EAD and AP( 11/09/2007) and I got my EAD but my AP is not approved yet. I contacted with Texas Service center and they told that our (for me and my wife) namecheck and finger printing have been cleared. But my AP is pending because of background check. I asked is it different kind of check , she said yes but as usual could no tell how long it usuallky take to complete this kind of check and also when this background check has been requested.
I need to travel in January. Does anyone has the same situation ? Please reply

Given that IV was majorly instrumental in reversing the July fiasco, the least I could do was contribute money.
I am also planning to contribute time by volunteering for Texas state chapter activities.
The turn of events in past month clearly highlights what concentrated lobbying can achieve. We need to keep up the pressure.

Just out of curiosity, what's stopping you from doing some of these things now? You probably cannot spend 3 months with your family in India and Dubai or go to culinary school full-time but you can definitely do all the rest while on H-1B/AOS.

Everywhere they mention spillover...they say quarterly. But they don't really enforce it. :mad:
At least , they improved the bulletin by adding more detailed information as well as an explanation about how it works.
USCIS issue GC not more than 9% of quota for eligible quota by each country during each first three quarters. Spill over happens only in last quarter of a fiscal year.

Just noticed there is an update on LUD on my previous EAD (not the current one). Not sure what that means though. Still waiting for response after sending interfiling letter.

Good to hear that you are a Kabayan!I am currently in Marikina City.My wife is also calling friends and colleagues to contact Senators and Congressmen.I also had my sister(teacher) and cousins (nurses) contact theirs too even way back in Nov 06 when SKIL was being pushed in the new Congress. It is almost a year and at the latest the SChumer/hutchison amendment was withdrawn. I really hope something does pass for Sched A this year.

Send your recommendations to USCIS/DOL and your certification about bsc and bcom. Also enlighten us with your larger perspective of how this multinational executive making 32K per annum adding more jobs/potential to the economy.
I have nothing to recommend to them as things are fine as they are. And there will be no recommendation coming from me to close any door at all, whether it be for EB2 or anyone else.
You can go ahead and recommend against EB3 BSc BCom losers, as it is your business

If you are beyond 6 years and I-485 denied then applicant is doomed weather you are in H1 or EAD. Only route is MTR. My attorney confirmed it.
She suggest unless MTR get open. You should not even work to avoid the issues.
